Delta Shopmaster SA 180 1" belt, 8" disk sander
This sander currently resides on the 4 shelf collapsible shelf. Also on that shelf you may find any available spare sanding belts that are specific to this machine. Spare sanding disks may be found within a container elsewhere within the wood shop area.
Dust Collection
It is mandatory that if you are going to run the machine you MUST connect the dust collection vacuum system. This will help but not eliminate creating a dust mess.
NOTE: If the collection system does not seem to be working adaquatly please post a note to the woodshop discord channel.
This is the Delta Shopmaster model SA 180 belt/disk sander
Note The extra sand paper in various grits within the blue box, the dust collector machine to 2“ hose adapter within the red box. Both of these must stay with the machine at all times.
The sander has two dust collection ports. One when using the belt sander, the other when using the disk. At present we do no have them connected together so please ensure the correct port is connected to the collector vacuum. If you are going to use both belt and disk you will need to move the adapter accordingly.

This shows the machine to 2” hose adapter in green connected to the disk dust port, and the 2“ hose to 4” hose adapter in red connected to the collection vacuum.

This image shows the Hercules vacuum hose connected directly to the jigsaw. This hose fits somewhat more securely than does the Delta sander adapter, which will work if needed
