Bosch RA1181 27”x18“ Table with Hercules Model HE041 12amp Router

Dust Collection

It's very important to connect the 2.5“ dust collection adpater/hose to the router table when in use. Using the collector will help reduce the amount of saw dust that escapes. The dust collection is not great and hopefully we can improve upon it in the future. Every little bit helps.

NOTE: It's important to start the big red Bauer dust collector before starting the router table, due to power draw. The saw can plug into the same extension cord as the Bauer unit.

The dust port with the 2.5” adapter/hose. A 2.5“ → 4” adapter is also required to connect the router table output port to the Bauer Dust Collector.

Table Inserts

Its important to use a properly sized table insert when using the router table. The insert opening should be slightly larger than the bit currently installed.

Various size inserts for the router table as well as the bit change tool are located on a hook at one end of the table.
