A place to document known-good powers/speeds for various materials.

The project design/driving software used in TheLab for driving some but not all laser machines is Lightburn. The Lightburn installs within TheLab have recently been loaded with a Materials Library provided by a member. The settings found within the libraries should be considered starting values rather than values that will give the best results.

The Glowforge laser machine is driven by a cloud based product, not Lightburn. Thus the settings are not loaded into Lightburn unless provided by a local user.

The following settings link can be used as starting values for the Glowforge laser. Values may need to be adjusted based on the wattage of the local machine vs that used to create the library of settings.
