How to Join
1. Sign the Waiver
Please sign our liability waiver before visiting the space: https://waiver.thelab.ms
2. Purchase a Membership
Membership dues are $50/month which is billed monthly, or you have the option of preparing for an entire year through Stripe. Please note the rate was increased in 2026 due to increased costs for insurance, rent, utilities etc. The new rate of $50 was approved by the Board of Directors in their March 2026 meeting.
We offer a discounted rate which is currently 50% off of the regular rate. That makes is $25/month for the following:
- Students (taking at least one college course)
- Retirees (of reasonable retiring age)
- Veteran of the armed services, or current active duty
- 1st responders (Fire / Ambulance / Police)
- You have another family member who is already paying dues to TheLab
If you may qualify for the discounted rate, talk to TheLab leadership before paying so they can apply the discount.

3. Pick up a Key Fob
Every Tuesday night at 7-9pm TheLab hosts an open house. Stop by for a tour and we'll help set you up with an RFID key fob for 24×7 access to the space.
