Financial Updates and Issues

• Bank Account Access: The board president attempted to log into the bank account to retrieve the balance for the meeting but was unable due to a multi-factor authentication issue with their phone number. The account is functional, but access for balance retrieval was hindered. The issue will be resolved later.
• Balance Expectation: The balance is assumed to be as expected from the last check.

Relocation Plans

• Property Search: The organization plans to get more serious about looking at properties this month. The president will personally allocate time for this.
• Viewing Schedule: The goal is to view at least two to three properties this month from options already identified online.
• New Options: Doug has found some very close-by options, though their suitability is yet to be determined.

Events and Social Gatherings

• Trash Disco/Goth/New Wave Night: Plans for the next “trash disco” (goth/new wave night) are in progress, aiming for the end of this month or early next month. The delay is due to logistical issues.
• DJ Search: The organizer is looking for a streamer who DJs this particular style of music. A friend, Robbie, might be able to DJ but his compensation needs to be clarified. YouTube sources are available as alternatives.
• Event Activities: The previous event involved playing card games, and the organizer finds it hard to imagine people dancing while working on projects like acrylic cutting. The event aims for music appreciation and a “sound and light evening,” with a historical nod to the crossover between older goth and new wave music.
